We have a reserve made up of 3 properties in the Daintree Rainforest in Diwan. We have 2 native plant nurseries. We propagate a variety of species specific to the region to reforest denuded areas to extend the habitat for the endangered Southern Cassowary.

Our Indigenous caretaker carefully collects seeds from known ancient trees in the rainforest and propagates them in the nurseries. Some seeds take 6 months to 2 years to be raised in the nursery ready for planting. 

We are undertaking large-scale retoration projects which require island planting of a large variety of trees to ensure the biodiversity of the rainforest and to establish habitat for endangered species.

Our reserve has waterways critical for the protection of the Great Barrier Reef and we ensure the waterways are protected and forested to the edges.
