Since 1986, Raw Potential Canberra has helped more than 10,000 disadvantaged and at at-risk youth.

- 1 in every 10 young people in Canberra experience homelessness?
- In 2022, we helped more than 1,500 at-risk youth through our outreach programs.

At Raw Potential Canberra (also known as Youth Care Canberra), we provide proactive, nonjudgemental outreach services to at-risk or homeless youth, aged 12 to 25 years.

Everyday we providing rapid response support to at-risk youth that are doing it the toughest. Our mobile vans operate daily - patrolling the streets in the ACT, connecting with homeless youth and providing immediate assistance including water, food, clean clothing & offer help and support to facilitate medium term housing.

We run youth outreach programs out of the Woden Community Centre. Our programs seek to educate at-risk youth, help to inform them about basic life skills and wellbeing. 
We also run specialised programs that teach young people how to budget and how to prepare healthy meals.

Raw Potential Canberra is a nonprofit organisation that receives minimal Government funding. We are 100% reliant on the kindness and generosity of local Canberrans, local businesses and our Corporate Partners.

We exist to help pick up the pieces where youth fall between the cracks of other services, sometimes due to them being below the age needed to qualify for assistance.
