Horses for Causes! Our disabled riders are growing in number, while our fabulous herd of horses is getting older and retiring. Horses looking after disabled riders are particularly gifted. They need to cope with many different volunteer handlers along with the emotional and physical challenges of our disabled riders. The horses most suited to this are highly trained, with great temeraments and have a reasonably high price tag. Costs associated with keeping horses and maintaining equipment are also high. We are a volunteer group, and every dollar raised goes directly to support our riders.
