The Ride Against Domestic Violence is a 260km charity bike ride from Busselton to Perth in the south west of Western Australia.
The purposes of the Ride are to raise funds for Starick, a charity that provides domestic and family violence support services for women and children in Perth's south-eastern region, and to raise the community's understanding of the causes, scope and consequences of domestic and family violence.
The Ride Against Domestic Violence has drawn riders from a wide cross-section of Western Australian society who have wanted to help refuges providing crucial domestic and family violence related services. As with past Rides, we aim to form pelotons for future Rides comprised of Members of Parliament, members of the professions, community members, company/industry association personnel and trade unionists.
