Everyday someone in Australia sustains a life-changing spinal injury and approximately ten people suffer a traumatic brain injury. As a not-for-profit provider of rehabilitation and disability support this keeps us very busy being there for our patients during some of the most significant events in their lives and also highly aware of how to enrich the next chapter of their lives. Our work is impactful and we hope you too can draw inspiration from some of our patients' and residents' personal stories on our website. As one of Australia’s oldest charities, having been established in 1900, we have many stories to share with you. 

Royal Rehab not only provides specialist brain and spinal cord injury services but also provides supported accommodation in nearly 40 locations and community rehabilitation services in the greater Sydney metropolitan region, runs two private hospitals, Royal Rehab Private and MetroRehab, offering rehabilitation expertise in neurological conditions (including stroke and Parkinson's disease), cancer, orthopaedic, reconditioning and pain management, and cardiac conditions, and manages Sargood on Collaroy, a fully accessible resort for guests with spinal cord injury.
