On July 20, 2025, I’ll be running my first half marathon – the Jetty 2 Jetty Half Marathon – in honor of my beautiful son, Oliver. Oliver was born with PKU (phenylketonuria), a rare genetic condition that affects how his body processes protein. Every day, he faces the challenge of adhering to a strict diet, avoiding high-protein foods, and relying on special medical formula for nutrition.

Life with PKU is tough, but Oliver shows us all what true strength looks like. His laughter, resilience, and love continue to inspire me and our entire family. This race is for him—every step I take will be a step toward raising awareness, generating support, and working for a better future for everyone living with PKU and other rare metabolic conditions.

I’m raising funds to support the MDDA, PKU research, advocacy, and improved access to care. Every donation will help make a meaningful difference for families affected by PKU.
