In Timor-Leste, our Salesian partners are working in more than 70 schools and communities to provide education, practical skills training, and essential care for disadvantaged young people. They are highly respected within their communities for their long‑standing commitment to the young and for the strong outcomes their schools achieve.

Despite significant financial challenges, these schools have made an extraordinary contribution to national development. Government funding is limited, and most families cannot afford to pay school fees. As a result, the schools depend heavily on external financial support to meet basic needs to continue their work.
Your donation helps keep schools operating, classrooms safe, and students supported. Nearly 14,000 children and young people benefit from Salesian schools that equip them with skills for employment and the ability to contribute to the development of Timor Leste.
