Sculpture by the Sea, Aarhus was initiated by the Crown Prince and Princess of Denmark who were also the patrons of the exhibition. Follow in the tradition of the Royal patronage and become a 'Danish Friend of Sculpture by the Sea' to help provide Danish artists with the funds to exhibit at our Sydney and Perth exhibitions each year.

Sculpture by the Sea takes great pride in its strong connection with Denmark as a result of the Aarhus exhibition. To further foster these cultural ties we have introduced a new A$10,000 subsidy to support a Danish artist to exhibit in every future exhibition of Sculpture by the Sea in Australia.

Please support this new artist subsidy by making an annual donation to the 'Danish Friends of Sculpture by the Sea'. As a not for profit organisation, we will ensure 100% of your donation will go directly to the selected Danish artist to enable the following support:

• Contribute to the costs of exhibiting to include fabrication, freight and/or travel expenses;
• Provide the opportunity for Danish artists to showcase their work on an international stage;
• Provide invaluable international networking and media opportunities; and
• Provide the opportunity to sell work to international collectors.

We greatly enjoyed witnessing how Sculpture by the Sea, Aarhus captivated the hearts of the Danish people and its artists, with your help we can continue to grow this important relationship and provide international exhibiting opportunities for Danish Artists.
