SDECC is an innovative non government drug and alcohol organisation based on the Northern Beaches in Sydney. We have been serving our community for over forty years.
SDECC's philosophy is one of harm minimisation, in line with the National Drug Strategy 2010 - 2015 and the NSW Health Substance Use and Young People Framework (2014).
SDECC works with young people (aged 14 - 25 years) and their families to minimise the harms associated with alcohol and other drug use. We provide comorbid metal health services, including metal health assessment and specialised family support.
SDECC is quality accredited by the Australian Council on Health Care Standards.
All our services are free and confidential.
SDECC does not have a permanent source of funding and relies on government contracts and project based funding.
