Sea Sunday is an annual opportunity where we remember and give thanks for the 1.5 million Seafarers who transport over 90% of the things we take for granted here in Australia.
Organisations, individuals, churches and groups make a special effort to donate to the Mission to help us continue our work during this time. Sea Sunday is a chance to stop and give thanks for all the wonderful things we have and give back just a little to the hard-working women and men who are often the poorest in our communities.
Many of the Seafarers have not seen their families for up to a year. A lack of communication, loneliness, fatigue and isolation can result in mental health issues and even suicide. Your support enables us provide free services right around Australia, giving Seafarers a home away from home in a safe and welcoming environment.
Thank you so very much.

The Mission to Seafarers acknowledges Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognises the continuing connection to lands, waters and communities. We pay our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past and present.
