What do we do?
The Sisters of the Good Samaritan Foundation supports women and children in vulnerable communities across the Asia-Pacific region. Our programs are focused and practical, providing education, regular meals, and safety from harm to those who need it most. These programs don’t just meet immediate needs; they offer hope and opportunity, laying the groundwork for long-term change.
Our approach is compassionate, culturally sensitive, and community-based. Together with our funders, the Good Sams Foundation empowers women and children with pathways to self-sufficiency.
Philippines programs - daily meals, education, and practical support during climate emergencies for children and families in Bacolod, on the island of Negros.
Kiribati programs - early childhood education and community support in North and South Tarawa.
Australia - assistance for HSC students impacted by financial hardship. The Good Samaritan Inn - refuge and accommodation for women and children fleeing family violence. Women in Work - an employment and coaching program for marginalised women.
