Many take good health for granted, but for those with Primary Immunodeficiency (PI), daily life is a silent battle. Immunodeficiencies weaken the immune system, making infections harder to fight and causing chronic illness, severe fatigue, and emotional distress. Our fundraising campaign aims to highlight these challenges and provide vital support for individuals and families affected by PI.
Funds will support Resource Distribution, ensuring healthcare professionals have access to vital educational materials. Too many people with PI face delayed diagnoses and inadequate care. By equipping healthcare providers with the right information, we can bridge the gap between diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
With generous donations of $5,000, IDFA will be able to distribute 250 educational packs to healthcare professionals across Australia.
These resource packs are designed to improve understanding, recognition, and diagnosis of Primary Immunodeficiencies (PI)—a group of over 400 rare and serious disorders that significantly compromise the immune system.
By placing these materials directly into the hands of health professionals, we aim to:
This initiative is part of our wider mission to make Primary Immunodeficiencies seen, heard, and understood—ensuring that no patient slips through the cracks due to a lack of awareness.
But we can’t do this alone. Your donation isn’t just financial support—it’s a lifeline. It funds education, resources, and community initiatives that empower those with PI to thrive, not just survive. Every contribution makes a difference.
Together, we can create a world where people living with PI are seen, understood and supported.
