Forest Collective is delighted to be teaming up with Heirlume Productions to present the iconic Fosse musical Sweet Charity.
Sixty years since its Broadway debut, our June 2026 production of Sweet Charity follows the New York City adventures of the ever-endearing Charity Hope Valentine… but not quite how you remember it.
In a world suspended between the Lavender Scare and the Stonewall Riots, Heirlume’s Sweet Charity reimagines this classic through a new lens; infusing its beloved characters and legendary score (‘Big Spender’, ‘The Rhythm of Life’, ‘If My Friends Could See Me Now’) with a queer love story and a tale of self-acceptance.
We are delighted to showcase our proudly diverse ensemble in this queer forward season of Sweet Charity, where your donations will provide them with the financial stability of a guaranteed fee, independent of profit share which relies on ticket sales.
Your continued support motivates us to continue to push the envelope with the projects we create and are involved in, and provide opportunities for artists and musicians to create and collaborate in a supportive environment.
Forest Collective is a volunteer-run, not for profit artist collective.
"Forest Collective, a company that continues to stamp out its name as a leader in the arts with its dedication to opening people's minds about what contemporary music and performance can be."
