A young person’s life can be changed forever if they are supported to re-engage with education, develop fundamental work skills and have opportunities to improve their mental and physical health.
The Bike Collective's innovative approach uses bicycle workshops and is successfully delivering this support to over 80 vulnerable young people every week.
However, we need critical support to overcome a short-term funding gap of $25,000 caused by rising costs.
Will you make a one-off contribution today?
Your contribution will support students like Jason.
When Jason was referred to the Bike Collective our staff were told that he struggled to hold attention, had anger management issues and didn't often get along well with other kids.
Since being in the program his teachers have told us that Jason has made vast improvements in the classroom and this is what Jason told us about how the Bike Collective has helped him:
“When I feel frustrated instead of getting angry or giving up, I can ask for help, keep trying or have a break and come back to things I’m struggling with.”
Anything you give will make a huge difference and directly benefit 80 young Tasmanians, like Jason every week.
