About this cause

Help us build Wellington’s new home for the Arts

Wellington Arts Centre has found a new home for our gallery at 29 Nanima Crescent Wellington - an exciting step forward for creativity in our community. Before we can open the doors, however, the space needs significant renovation to transform it into the vibrant arts hub Wellington deserves.

For many years, Wellington Arts has brought our community together through exhibitions, workshops and creative events. We proudly support local artists, nurture emerging talent and create opportunities for people of all ages to connect through the arts.

We invite you to take part in our Black Tie Non-Event by donating to support the continuing success of Wellington Arts. No need to dress up or leave the house!!! Help us build the future of Wellington Arts.

Your support will help us complete the renovations much sooner and bring this new gallery space to life - a welcoming place where creativity, culture and community can flourish.

We truly appreciate your support and look forward to welcoming you to our grand opening later in 2026.

Until then, thank you for attending the event that never was!

*** This appeal will be remain open until renovations commence (projected later part of 2026)***
