WellWishers goal is to stop women and their daughters having to spend up to 3 hours daily to collect 4 litres per person, of polluted water often from a source shared with defecating livestock. To stop up to 20% of children dying under the age of 5, from waterborne diseases.

Funds will be used to build water wells in Ethiopia. One well costing $6800 will forever change the lives of about 250 villagers. During the crisis in 2021, CrowdRaiser funds will be used to help farmers with seeds and tools for the planting season.

Tax-deductible receipts will be provided by WellWishers. Please note that receipts for donations to the Trust are sent out in the month following the calendar month in which donations are received, excepting Christmas where it may take 2 months. 

Key Areas of Expenditure

Planning, construction and monitoring of water wells and health and sanitation education in Ethiopia, and in 2021 some funds to help farmers plant their food crops.
