The Women's Health Information and Referral Service CQ Inc. (WHIRSCQ) has been providing services in our region for over 30 years. WHIRSCQ provides free, confidential counselling, support, information and referral to individuals from Rokchampotn, Yeppoon, Gracemere, Emerald and Blackwater and is funded by the Queensland Government Department of Justice and Attorney-General. CHIRSCQ Inc. is fortunately to receive this funding, however the demand for services has grown exponentially.

In addition to counselling services, WHIRSCQ now assist women who are homeless or at risk of homelessness with access to laundry and shower facilities, telephone and internet and where possible, access to necessisites such as sanitary and toiletry items, clothing and meals.

All donations are immensely helpful and will be used to continue providing these necessities for women who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
