About this cause

Australia’s unique and irreplaceable wildlife is under constant threat from road trauma, habitat loss, bushfires, floods, and disease. Every day, animals arrive needing urgent care.

The Northern Rivers Wildlife Hospital is now open in Wollongbar, treating sick, injured, and orphaned native animals from across our region. But running a wildlife hospital takes constant support — from life-saving equipment to skilled staff and everyday supplies.

This is an all-species, community-owned, not-for-profit hospital, and we rely on people like you to help us keep our doors open and our wildlife alive.

Here’s how your donation can make a real difference:

  • $40 provides specialised formula to feed a rescued joey
  • $75 covers a wildlife health check, including examination and basic diagnostics
  • $100 helps fund pathology or imaging to diagnose injury and illness
  • $150 contributes to surgical equipment for critical procedures

With your help, we’re giving injured animals a second chance and building a safer future for the wildlife of the Northern Rivers.

Thank you for standing with us, and the animals we all care about.
