The Womens Centre is a specialist domestic violence and homelessness support service in Far North Queensland.
We are dedicated to a future where women and their children can live free from violence and abuse.
We offer a range of programs in Cairns and the Atherton Tablelands region - including a domestic violence shelter, family support and court support.
In 2017 we assisted over 1,000 women and 1,200 children who were escaping domestic violence.
We are collecting funds to meet the increasing demand for support for women and children escaping violence. These funds will be used to provide financial and material support.
