The Women’s Centre for Health and Wellbeing Albury Wodonga is a not-for-profit, non-government organisation that provides free or low-cost services to girls and Women (over 16 yrs. of age). We have been in operation in Albury for over 30 years, supplying support to women and girls from both Albury (NSW) and Wodonga (Victoria) and surrounds. The Women's Centre for Health and Wellbeing Albury Wodonga is also the only Women's Centre that operates cross border.
Our priority is to women experiencing domestic or family violence, sexual assault, people from CALD and marginalised backgrounds. We provide general counselling, free Childhood Sexual Abuse Counselling, NILS no interest loans, Therapeutic Groups, Intake and Referral Services that support women fleeing domestic violence, sexual assault and provide emergency accommodation, clothing and toiletries, baby items, food vouchers and more. Legal services are provided free via The Hume Riverina Community Legal Service
All donations will support the day-to-day costs associated with providing emergency assistance to women experiencing domestic violence and the development and execution of much needed health services and groups that are currently not covered by funding.
