Hi, my name is Donna Ditchfield, and with the help of my sister Julia Baird and brothers Adrian, Gary and Warick Worrell, we’re on a mission to raise much-needed funds for Macquarie Home Stay (MHS) – a truly life-changing facility for families supporting loved ones undergoing medical treatment at Dubbo Base Hospital.

Over the past 18 months, I’ve spent about three months at MHS, supporting our beloved parents, Nea and Gordon Worrell of Baradine, during their serious illnesses. This incredible place became our home away from home during a time of immense need, providing comfort, security, and support.

Our family isn’t alone in this experience. Many friends and loved ones have also relied on MHS, which is why we’re passionate about giving back.

Currently, MHS is undergoing an exciting expansion to support even more families. However, two rooms remain unsponsored, and $30,000 is needed to complete one of them room 38 – covering its fitout, fittings and furnishings.

In true Worrell style, we’re determined to help. Here’s where you come in.

We’re asking for 1,500 generous people to donate just $20 each. Together, we can reach that $30,000 goal! Every donation, no matter how small, will make a huge difference. Even $5 helps, and if you can give more, we’d be incredibly grateful.
