This Christmas let's shine a light on Parkinson's through the remarkable story of Henry, a twelve-year-old from Cunnamulla, in outback Queensland. Henry's passion for cricket and his desire to help those affected by Parkinson's led him to form his town's first cricket team in 30 years, raising awareness and funds along the way.
After seeing his hero Allan Border on TV discussing Parkinson's, Henry was inspired to act. With the support of his mum Marsha, he educated himself about the condition and decided to make a difference. The Cunnamulla Emus Junior Cricket Club quickly became a beacon of hope, drawing support from across Queensland.
