This free event will be guided by two experienced art teachers and will suit the novice through to the more experienced artist.

All art materials will be supplied on the day and a barbeque will follow. You will need to bring your own camp stool or something to sit on if you are comfortable sitting on the ground.

You will be moving around a little, so please bring appropriate footwear, hats, water and sunscreen.

Your two artists:

Margaret Salt is not only a practising artist, she is also an educator; delivering large scale exhibitions, themed painted rooms for family activities, art and dementia training workshops around Australia and art workshops around the globe. She also runs a monthly drawing group, now in its 11th year, at her home in Nungurner.

Debbie Qadri is a local artist who has worked with many communities in the West on public art projects and has taught art to both adults and children. She works across many mediums including ceramics, painting, fabric, writing and cartoons.

This activity is supported by the Hobsons Bay City Council Community Fund.
