491 Fest is a benefit gig raising funds for AusPATH and Project 491 — because every trans and gender diverse child deserves access to essential, evidence-based healthcare.

The Queensland Government’s restrictions on gender-affirming care have left at least 491 young people in the public system without access to life-saving treatment. This puts their health and wellbeing at serious risk, particularly for low-income families and those with complex needs.

Project 491, in partnership with AusPATH, is working to provide private, multidisciplinary pathways to ensure these young people receive the care they need — but they can’t do it alone.

All proceeds from this event go directly to supporting access to gender-affirming care.
