This group program features 5 weekly classes designed to support self-care, self-compassion, and gentle creative exploration. No previous art experience is needed... just bring yourself as you are, with a willingness to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself through the creative process.
Run by qualified Art Therapist & Counsellor from Beyond Words Art Therapy, Bernice Wolford, each 1.5-hour session gently weaves together mindfulness, and creative practices using drawing, painting, and collage. The focus is not on artistic skill or outcomes, but on creating space for rest, emotional expression, curiosity, and compassionate self-awareness.
Through reflective practices and optional sharing, participants are invited to cultivate a kinder relationship with themselves while connecting with others in a safe and supportive environment. Across the five weeks, the closed-group format encourages trust, continuity, and a sense of belonging to emerge naturally.
This is an opportunity to pause from the demands of everyday life, tend to your wellbeing, and nourish your mind, body, and spirit through creativity, reflection, and meaningful connection with other women.
