CMT Australia (CMTAA Inc.) was established 30 years ago to support those who suffer from a range of neurological conditions known as Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT).
This collection of diseases impacts around 1 in every 2500 people (i.e. around 10,000 Australian) and results in symptoms of physical deformity primarily of the hands and feet causing walking and dexterity issues, and poor balance.
The Association is staffed by volunteers and financially supported by its membership.
Running an association has increasing financial impacts and your donation to support us will enable a broader range of services and enable us to expand our reach.
